Shanghai, China - On March 29, 2023, the second-generation DFVision^® 3D Electronic Endoscope (hereinafter referred to as "Second-generation DFVision^®"), independently developed by Shanghai MicroPort MedBot (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort^® MedBot^® Robot Group"), received the marketing registration certificate issued by Shanghai Drug Administration, which is another milestone in the industrialization development of MicroPort^® MedBot^® Robot Group.

The clinical application of the second-generation DFVision^® is very wide, which can be applied to liver and biliary surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, thoracic surgery and other department operations.

As the first Chinese-developed 3D Electronic Endoscope to enter the Green Channel, the first-generation DFVision^® was approved for marketing by NMPA in June 2021 and achieved sales in the second half of 2021. In 2022, the commercialization process of the first-generation DFVision^® has proceeded orderly, achieving strong growth in sales volume and sales profit, which once again confirms the domestic leading position of MicroPort^® MedBot^® Robot Group in the field of micro-trauma surgery in terms of market share, recognition and technical hard power.

In the process of continuous clinical application of the first-generation products, DFVision^® continues to draw clinical feedback and suggestions through the close collaboration of medical workers and integration of opinions. As a result, the second-generation DFVision^® has been launched. With advanced performance and many common clinical functions, the new release outperforms in all rounds, including software, hardware, stability of optics and the use of comfort. In the foreseeable future, MicroPort^® MedBot^® Robot Group will further consolidate its leading position in the domestic industry.
